This zebra-print oversized sheer tee was inspired by the last episode of The Fashion Show. I was invited back to help Johnny whip up an animal-print chiffon cocktail dress. It was such a fun print to work with, I was inspired to create my own hand-painted version. Nancy Stark is a psychic I visit whenever I pass by Raoul's, the French bistro in SoHo. She has been reading tarot cards there for 15 years, so I loved watching her appear on The Fashion Show.

This oversized sheer tee was inspired by the "Ode to La Mode" episode of THE FASHION SHOW. Each contestant were each inspired by a legendary designer.

Coco Chanel is my favorite for her elegance, simplicity, and modern take on dressing women. Her most famous quotes are printed white-on-white as an all-over print. Worn over a colored top or over a summer bikini, you will be inspired by Coco wherever you go!

This reversible cotton shirt dress was chosen as one of the top designs on Episode 4 of THE FASHION SHOW. Hailed as a great summer look for the Hampton's, it was inspired by a nautical-themed satin pump by Stella McCartney.

The design consists of two classic button-down shirts sewn at the hem and worn as a dress. It can be worn 1) as a dress, 2) upside-down as another dress, and 3) as two shirts layered on top of each other. Read about the design on Angel's blog.

This sheer oversized t-shirt was inspired by the body print artwork of 1960's painter Yves Klein. Inspired by the "Real Women" challenge, this print was created using a real woman's body -- that is, using Angel's body as a human-sized stamp.

Chinese guardian lions are believed to have powerful mythic protective powers and have traditionally stood in front of Chinese Imperial palaces, temples, emperors' tombs, and the homes of government officials and the wealthy until 1911. This colorful stuffed animal version (we named him "Juju") was brought back during my last inspiration trip deep in the mountains of China. Juju accompanies me whenever I am designing and makes a guest appearance in Episode 3 (did you spot him?)

These prints were inspired by 19th-century hand-shadows of woodland creatures. It strips the idea of entertainment down to the most basic level by using one's own hands to create simple optical illusions. By day, our fingers function as working tools; by night, they transform into magic. As an instructional t-shirt, it reminds us of the simple pleasures that we must encourage ourselves to enjoy in life.

Word Necklace

In each episode of The Fashion Show, I wear a necklace with a word relating to that day. Viewers can text that word to 83733 on their cell phones.

If viewers get the word right, they will get a response from me to visit a certain website or meet up at a location that weekend. “Meet me for a sandwich at An Choi this Sunday at 2pm.” “Come grab a drink with me at Café Select Saturday night.”

Mobile technology can be used as a way to interact with viewers and create physical meet-up spots for viewers to meet me and to meet each other.
